Probably Will
Honestly when Iowa gave us the right to get married my initial reaction was that it was wonderful for those who felt the need or desire. But since we have considered ourselves married since our Holy Union Ceremony 8 years ago we didn't really have that need or desire. After all our relationship is between us and our Lord, not us and the State of Iowa.
After further consideration and investigation it looks as though we will probably go ahead and get legally married on our anniversary in July. Not out of love or anything remotely romantic but because of the need to protect ourselves from the tax laws. In our current situation, if one of us were to die the other one would have to pay a 15% inheritance tax just to keep the things we currently own.
